ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Fully responsible for following batch records and completing reports accurately
- Visually inspect machine for loose or broken parts then turn machine over by hand making sure machine will turn over freely before starting machine
- Load and thread proper wrapping material as indicated on production schedule
- Startup the wrapping machine with proper setting
- Work with Material Handler to ensure machine is continually supplied with candy and twist wrap in order to meet production target
- Check quality of wrap every 5 to 10 minutes to monitor correct cut-off lengths of wrapping material
- Have full operational knowledge of wrapping machine and be able to adjust minor mechanical faults
- Follow SCN BestCos LOTO Policy and procedures to ensure that machines or equipment are isolated from all potentially hazardous energy before performing cleaning service or maintenance activities where they may be an unexpected energization start-up or release of stored energy.
- Report mechanical problems to supervisor and/or maintenance
- Disassemble and clean all wrapping machines
- Keep area clean at all times
- Follow cGMP rules while performing daily functions
- Any other duties that may be assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanically Inclined and troubleshooting abilities

- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
- cGMP oriented
- Flexible
- Good writing skills
- Production oriented
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willing and able to clean and sanitize machines
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to35 lbs.
- Must be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needs including overtime
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
- 6 months of machine operator experience
- Prior pharmaceutical industry experience
- Prior Manufacturing experience
- FDA experience
- Certified Production Technician through NCMI
