Workday HCM Recruitment Functional Consultant

HM oversees two teams: the Core Team and the Expansion Team. This role will sit on the Core Team which supports global regions including Canada the UK Mexico and the Philippines.
Team operates across three primary lines of business within global initiatives: Recruiting Core HCM and Benefits and TMPM Talent management and performance management
This role is functional including business processes conditional logic calculated fields and Workday documentation.
The team supports global enterprise solutions including enhancements related to legal compliance and regulatory requirements. There is a strong emphasis on building scalable solutions that can be applied across multiple regions-not just country-specific fixes.
The team is distributed across the U.S. with key engineers located in New York and Boston and primarily operates on an East Coast schedule.
Day-to-day responsibilities include working within an Agile environment using Jira starting with daily stand-ups and participating in standard Agile ceremonies.
Bi-weekly ceremonies focus on planning dependencies and resource alignment
Quarterly deep dives involve stakeholders security and platform teams
This role requires frequent interaction with stakeholders especially during solution design prototyping and implementation phases.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong experience across Workday modules (Recruiting Benefits Core HCM and TMPM-Talent Management and performance management)
A solid understanding of the end-to-end Workday ecosystem and business processes
Experience with Jira/Agile methodologies is preferred.
