Word Press Developer

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to support website development projects for a growing marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building complete WordPress websites using Gutenberg custom blocks and pattern-based systems. This role requires the ability to work independently follow established development processes and deliver high-quality websites on schedule.

• Build and launch complete WordPress websites from start to finish.
• Develop homepage service pages location pages blog templates and other internal pages.
• Work within an existing WordPress platform utilizing Gutenberg blocks and pattern libraries.
• Ensure responsive design and mobile optimization across all devices.
• Configure forms analytics tracking tools and website integrations.
• Implement SEO best practices and optimize website performance.
• Improve Core Web Vitals caching image compression and overall site speed.
• Participate in development meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Follow established naming conventions design standards and development workflows.

• 5 years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong experience with Gutenberg Editor custom blocks and pattern-based development.
• Experience building full WordPress websites independently.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and React.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles typography layout and responsive design.
• Experience working with design systems and reusable templates.
• Familiarity with Figma and modern AI productivity tools.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Experience working within structured development processes.
• Familiarity with local service business websites.
• Experience collaborating with marketing design and customer success teams.
