Purpose of Position:
Under the supervision of the Wolves Den Manager. The laborer is responsible for meal
preparation kitchen and restaurant upkeep and providing impeccable customer service. The need for this temporary position will be reviewed quarterly. This position will work anywhere from 6-8 hours daily. This is not a guaranteed 40 hours a week; it is as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in cooking a wide variety of well-prepared food items
- Properly operate and clean all food service equipment and machinery
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (weigh measure mix slice grind process food chop peel cut meat etc.)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Accurately collects cash and completes debit or credit card transactions from customers

Condition of Employment:

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to complete assignments/tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be customer-focused and have a genuine interest in supporting higher education.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with cutting tools cookware and bakeware prep work cooking (grilling baking boiling etc.) and kitchen functions
