Job Description:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
1 year experience working with aviation electrical systems
High school diploma or an equivalent A&P license preferred but not required
Role and Responsibilities
Inspect repair replace and perform functional checks
Assemble and install electrical mechanical hydraulic and structural accessories
Utilize hand tools power tools test equipment machines and components
Research understand and adhere to technical data relevant to assigned task
Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed
Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition
Coordinate with Management and Inspectors to ensure compliance with FAA and internal quality standards
Maintain the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Skills and Abilities
Read and interpret blueprints
Basic arithmetic
Basic computer literacy
Proficient in the English language written and verbal
Bend twist reach and stretch with body arms and legs.
Manual and finger dexterity.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for extended periods of time.
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Problem Solving
Must be available to work occasional overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.
Position PPE Requirements
Compliance with safety and health protocols including the use of personal protective equipment as required.
