Job Description:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 1 year experience working with aviation electrical systems
• High school diploma or an equivalent A&P license preferred but not required

Role and Responsibilities

• Inspect repair replace and perform functional checks
• Assemble and install electrical mechanical hydraulic and structural accessories
• Utilize hand tools power tools test equipment machines and components
• Research understand and adhere to technical data relevant to assigned task
• Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed
• Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition
• Coordinate with Management and Inspectors to ensure compliance with FAA and internal quality standards
• Maintain the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Skills and Abilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Basic arithmetic
• Basic computer literacy
• Proficient in the English language written and verbal
• Bend twist reach and stretch with body arms and legs.
• Manual and finger dexterity.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem Solving
• Must be available to work occasional overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
• This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.

Position PPE Requirements

• Compliance with safety and health protocols including the use of personal protective equipment as required.
