Job Summary
**Signon Bonus**- $4000 Paid: 1st half after 30days 2nd half after 60 days.
**10% shift differential**
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering prints; identify and correct errors prior to cutting steel.
- Set up and operate Wire EDM machines using a continuously moving wire to produce precise cuts and clean edges.
- Perform fine detailed machining for intricate profiles and complex designs using Wire EDM technology.
- Create 2-axis and 4-axis programs using appropriate programming software.
- Fixture workpieces as required to ensure proper alignment and efficient machining.
- Inspect completed parts to verify all specifications and quality requirements are met.
- Adjust machine parameters and control settings to optimize performance and productivity.
- Perform routine machine maintenance in accordance with documented machine manual requirements.
- Maintain inventory of consumables and components including wire guides filters belts and related supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers production supervisors and other personnel to support workflow efficiency and meet production goals.
Education and Experience:
- High school or GED equivalent.
- Technical training vocational education or 5 years on the job training/apprenticeship
