Job Summary
A warehouse in Tyler TX is seeking to hire a Shipping & Receiving/Inventory Control Specialist! Submit an online application today to join our team!

- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- $18-$20 DOE
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies
- Accurately enter inventory transactions into inventory management systems
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments including packaging labeling and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Coordinate with purchasing production and customer service teams regarding inventory availability
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in shipping receiving inventory control or warehouse operations required
- Experience using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately count record and track inventory
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
