Job Summary

Summary:The Warehouse Manager supervises warehouse employees and oversees the efficient receipt storage value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide range of goods and assembly parts. The position requires the understanding of system transactions and inventory staging with regards to work in process jobs and sales orders and is a vital part of the supply chain process. Responsibilities:Understand corporate objectives and use strategic thinking to deal with planning coordinating administration and general management issues including supervision of staff and overseeing work organized by team leadersPlanning coordinating and monitoring the receipt order and assembly staging and dispatch of goods with a clear understanding of work in process and all inventory system transactionsEnsure inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reconciling with ERP system on a daily basisMaintain physical condition of warehouse and efficient utilization of space and mechanical handling equipment while planning future capacity requirementsOversee the planned maintenance of vehicles warehouse machinery and equipment and make sure employees are trained and regularly briefed on proper use and all safety requirementsMaintain standards of health and security to provide a safe work environment with proper materials handling and storageRegularly communicate with manufacturers suppliers employees and Corporate to ensure quality of material and delivery standards are upheldMaintain budgets and monitor warehouse expenses as set by the Branch ManagerOrganize all work and job responsibilities for all shipping and receiving team membersMaintain building overall operation and appearancePositional Requirements & Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelors degree or related experienceExperience in stock control and managementSkills & AbilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with ERP Systems used for issuing and maintaining inventoryMinimum 5 years warehouse manager experienceCertified forklift operatorExtremely detail-orientedMust be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelinesClear background check and drug/alcohol screeningEssential Physical Functions:Lifting: up to 50 poundsAdjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directionsLift and carry: 50 pounds for 100 feetBending stooping walking and climbing stairsAscending or descending ladders stairs scaffolding rampsMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spacesRemaining in a stationary position often standing or sitting for prolonged periodsMoving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to anotherCommunicating with others to exchange informationRepeating motions that may include the wrists handsand/or fingersOperating machinery and/or power toolsOperating motor vehicles or heavy equipmentAssessing the accuracy neatnessand thoroughness of the work assignedRequired physical ability if mandated by customer or regulatory requirementsAble to hold body weight while swinging on rope during static and dynamic transfer (offshore)
