Warehouse Associate Driver

As a Warehouse Associate / Driver you will play a crucial role in our operations by performing various warehouse duties including pulling orders and safely loading unloading and receiving materials as well as being customer-facing when making deliveries as needed. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing orders for local deliveries ground and freight shipments

• Processing picking packing and shipping orders accurately

• Loading/unloading trucks; company trucks and vendors

• Inspecting items for defects and reporting as required

• Restocking and maintaining an inventory of orders as needed

• Making deliveries in and around Houston

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment

• Maintaining a harmonious work environment

• Communicating and cooperating with Co-workers supervisors customers and vendors

• Following all company policies and warehouse / driver procedures and safety measures

• Driving Commercial Truck for pick-ups and deliveries as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• One year of experience in a relevant warehouse setting preferred

• Experience with pallet jacks forklifts and hand trucks

• Experience driving large trucks preferred (26 foot)

• Basic experience in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)

• Able to follow directions while working in groups or independently with excellent attention to detail

• Able to move up to 75 pounds and handle weight while on MHE

• Have a great attitude and willingness to be a team player

• Able and wiling to learn new computer systems pertaining to receiving inventory and other warehouse functions

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check

• Basic math skills and must speak read and write English

• Physical stamina and dexterity for the work involving lifting and moving heavy loads

• Drivers license with an excellent driving record CDL preferred

• This role pays $20 per hour
