POSITION TITLE: Varsity/Junior Varsity Assistant Football Coach (Job Description)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Assist the head coach in planning organizing and conducting practices training sessions and competitions.
• Teach and reinforce sports specific skills techniques and team strategies.
• Supervised student athletes during practices games travel and team activities.
• Promote sportsmanship teamwork discipline and positive character development.
• Provide encouragement mentorship and constructive feedback to student athletes.
• Assist with game preparation opponent scouting and in game coaching responsibilities.
• Help monitor student athlete performance attendance and academic progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of student athletes by following established safety procedures and protocols.
• Assist with setup maintenance inventory and distribution of equipment and uniforms.
• Support compliance with league school organizational and athletic department rules and policies.
• Communicate effectively with coaches student athletes parents administrators and officials.
• Assist with team logistics scheduling travel arrangements and event coordination.
• Attend required meetings practices competitions and professional development activities.

LOCATION: Columbia Borough High/Middle School Hill Campus

STATUS: Seasonal

CONTRACT: Supplemental
