Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Unit Public Affairs Specialist to join our this role you will be responsible for developing and executing public affairs strategies that promote our company and its products. You will work closely with our marketing and communications teams to create engaging content and manage our online presence. Additionally you will be the primary point of contact for media inquiries and will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement public affairs strategies to promote the company and its products

- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create content for social media website and other platforms

- Manage the companys online presence and monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and develop relationships with key media outlets

- Write and distribute press releases media pitches and other communications materials

- Plan and execute events and campaigns to raise awareness of the company and its products

- Monitor industry trends and news to identify potential opportunities or challenges for the company

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers industry partners and community leaders

- Track and report on the effectiveness of public affairs strategies and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in public relations communications marketing or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public affairs media relations or a related field

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content

- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and other stakeholders

- Excellent organizational and project management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
