Description

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Full Time Dual Sonographer to join our team at Heartplace in North Arlington.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
  • Performs Stress Echo studies.
  • Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations
  • Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
  • Obtains insurance precertification for testing as necessary.
  • Performs test result abstracting to EMR as necessary.
  • Duties responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • May be required to move between locations as needed.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:.

  • Currently registered as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
  • Currently registered as a Vascular Sonographer or vascular registry eligible and completed by deadline set by the Company.
  • Current CPR certification.
