Corwell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977 it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy a surgical pavilion a pain management clinic orthopedic surgery inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring Fixed MRI including pacemaker cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).
Scope of Work
Under the direction of the site designated leader assigns and monitors the work of the Ultra sonographers to optimize quality and efficiency. Acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties to ensure department policies and imaging standards are met. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required associates degree or equivalent in health care or related field
- Preferred bachelors degree or equivalent in health care or related field
- Required Vocational/Technical Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound program or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant experience as Ultrasound Technologist or related field Required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
- CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire required
- CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes Cardiac/Vascular Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes Cardiac/Vascular Upon Hire required
- CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Exclude Cardiac
