What are we looking for

The UAV Field Specialistis a certified FAA Part 107 pilotresponsible for executing all aspects of UAV missions including flying GPS ground control point capture and other field tasks as needed. The UAV Field & Data Specialist also responsible for assessing data providing quality checks and providing deliverables of UAV missions: Surveying & Mapping Visual asset inspection Thermal Emissions and confined inspections etc.This position will travel at least 50% of the time.

What youll do:

• Execute UAV Projects and additional field duties as needed.

• Maintain UAV equipment in optimal condition.

• Compile and submit daily reports inspection reports and inter-office communications including completed performance/inspection reports in a timely manner.

• Perform flights while utilizing UAV. Maintain UAV in optimal condition

• Monitor and document UAV Projects and the ability to communicate detailed feedback

• Perform internal and external inspections to determine if it meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code (API 653 ASME Section V etc.) standard or document

• Maintains a positive relationship between client facility and customer; and promote a positive attitude towards co-workers.

• Ensures that all Intertek and site safety policies and procedures are being followed.

• Receivesdirection from AISS Team Lead and workswith other AISS technicians.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent

• 2-3 years in Oil and Gas experience

• Ability to travel as business needs dictate

• Able to pass Annual recurring and random Drug tests comprising of Urine Hair Breathalyzer tests etc.

• Able to pass background checks for the purpose of qualifying for TWIC Cards.

• Able to lift 50lbs or more

• Ability to work on offshore facilities such as drill ships FPSOs semi-submersibles production platforms etc.

• Operate a vehicle safely in oil and gas facilities and field sites.

• Be aware of and adhere to safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work

• Ability to work in fast-paced multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines

• Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats

• Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties

• Must be customer focused and quality driven

• Ability to travel as business needs dictate

• Valid drivers license and reliable driving record is required

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• Knowledge using Pix4D Bentley Agisoft Metashape or other UAV software platforms.

• Survey/GIS field experience and related software is a plus Microsoft Office proficiency including Word Excel and Outlook is required

• Experience with UAV Elios 2/3 and or DJI M300/M350 and point cloud dataset processing experience
