As a Transporter at Royal Oaks Hospital youll play a critical role in ensuring the safe reliable transportation of patients.

As a Transporter at Royal Oaks Hospital youll play a critical role in ensuring the safe reliable transportation of patients.

This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital a subsidiary of Compass Health Network.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport patients while following all traffic laws and ensuring seatbelt use
Work collaboratively with hospital staff to maintain smooth operations
Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new staff members
Complete required training and continuing education including CALM and CPR
Observe urinalysis collection as needed
Report and schedule vehicle maintenance emergency breakdowns or accidents per policy
Promote quality improvement initiatives within the hospital
Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and comply with Federal State and TJC regulations
Work collaboratively with hospital staff to maintain smooth operations

Requirements Skills Knowledge and Expertise
High School/GED preferred
Work Experience/Training/Additional Requirements:
- Experience in patient transportation healthcare or related field preferred
- Valid drivers license required
Licensure/Certification:
- Must have a valid Class E Missouri drivers license or ability to obtain within 60 days
