Transportation Operations Specialist Short Term for 2026-27 School Year

Located in the foothill community of Rancho Cucamonga California the Alta Loma School District serves over 5000 achieving students with 270 teachers and administrative staff and an additional 400 support District prides itself on its educational program which provides each student with the opportunity for maximum intellectual social and physical development. Under direction assist in the planning organization and coordination of a pupil transportation program; assist in the scheduling and assigning of bus driver personnel; transport students to and from school and on field trips; plan and conduct a bus driver training program; instruct and evaluate bus drivers to ensure that a high standard of performance is achieved and maintained; perform daily inspections of a bus or transportation equipment; coordinate transportation routing scheduling dispatching driver training safety and operational records; provide ongoing in-service and refresher training; ensure compliance with applicable federal state and local pupil transportation requirements; and to do other related work as required.
