What Youll Do:
Patient Transport & Experience
Safely and courteously transport patients between nursing units diagnostic areas and other departments
Operate designated patient transport elevators to ensure efficiency and comfort
Treat every patient and guest with dignity empathy and respect
Communication & Coordination
Communicate all stages of patient transport clearly with the dispatcher
Collaborate effectively with nursing staff ancillary departments and medical center personnel
Proactively report delays barriers or service issues and escalate patientexperience concerns when needed
Safety First
Prioritize patient visitor and coworker safety at all times
Use transport equipment safely and correctly
Immediately report unsafe equipment or practices to leadership
Accountability & Teamwork
Deliver timely reliable patient transport while meeting productivity expectations
Attend required trainings inservices and staff meetings
Follow all departmental and hospital policies and procedures
Take initiative to support continuous improvement across departments
Privacy & Professionalism
Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Protect patient and guest privacy during all interactions and transports
What Were Looking For
Preferred Education: GED or High School Diploma
A patientfocused mindset with strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
Reliability professionalism and a commitment to safety and service excellence
Compensation:
Salary Range: $16.94 - $19.28 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
