Title V -Senior Community Employment Program

TRAINING Summary: The intake specialist Assistant provides support to the intake specialist and case management team. The intake specialist assistant plays a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist with Intake Specialist (90%)

• Assist in receiving and reviewing incoming client inquiries
• Collect and verify client information documents and eligibility requirements.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in client management systems or databases.
• Provide clear information to clients regarding required forms processes and next steps.
• Support Intake Specialists and case managers with administrative tasks reports and follow-ups.
• Handle phone calls emails and other communications with professionalism and empathy.
• Provide administrative assistance including filing scanning and organizing intake materials.

Data Entry Tasks for MOW (10%)

• Collect and track daily MOW volunteer hours (Excel spreadsheet/s)
• Working with the Assistant RSVP Manager maintain update the accurate required hours and respond to returned reports.

Must be 55 years old or older; unemployed; resident of Bay Aging service area;a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident lawfully admitted; meet financial guidelines.
