Job Summary

The Textile Coordinator supports the Raw Materials Development team by managing textile processes documentation sample tracking and material data. This role ensures accurate processing of textile samples maintains documentation and databases supports product development activities and coordinates with internal teams to ensure efficient material management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive log and process textile samples for laboratory evaluation.
  • Track and manage customer-provided materials (COM) and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and maintain textile documentation and create fabric part numbers in internal systems.
  • Update textile testing results and support verification processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining textile work instructions and documentation.
  • Coordinate the shipment of textile samples and swatches with internal teams.
  • Manage textile sample libraries reference archives and new textile collections.
  • Maintain organized textile inventory and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Support engineering and product development teams with textile-related information.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and process requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 12 years of administrative textile materials manufacturing product development or customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database/PLM systems.
  • Ability to handle textile samples fabric rolls and swatches.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience with Tech Packs (Specification Packs) preferred.
  • Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD/NPI) Sustainability or Innovation initiatives preferred.
  • Masters Degree in Textile Sciences preferred.
