Become a Key Player as a Test Technician
As a Test Technician you will ensure electro-mechanical assemblies and electronic components meet specifications through hands-on testing and troubleshooting. You will support production and engineering by diagnosing failures providing clear root-cause documentation and maintaining test equipment. This is an onsite role on 2nd shift (MTh 3:30pm1:30am; must be able to train on 1st shift if needed) in the Simi Valley facility.
Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical testing of parts and components per instructions and procedures
- Review route cards traveler documentation and schematics to confirm correct operation sequences
- Set up and execute tests using oscilloscopes DVMs signal generators network/spectrum analyzers frequency counters power supplies and related equipment
- Troubleshoot circuits and components to the micro-component level and perform failure analysis
- Verify circuitry and component effectiveness in amplifiers and electronic equipment
- Receive units from customers and perform diagnostic evaluations using schematics and prints
- Provide detailed written failure descriptions and root-cause analysis to production and engineering
- Maintain a safe clean work environment and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Support variable schedules as needed including nights weekends and additional hours
Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 1 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical or electronic testing and assembly
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and ability to read prints/work instructions
- Experience using thermal and vibration testing equipment
- Proficiency using multimeters and power supplies
- Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Vocational training apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong electrical background and understanding of microelectronics
- Experience testing debugging and troubleshooting circuits and components
- Good reading comprehension oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications

Pay Range
$24.40/hour 10% Shift Differential (once transitioned to 2nd)
