Job Summary

Our client is a growing construction equipment sales rental and service business in Doraville GA. We are seeking to fill a hybrid role as a leader and anchor to their service division. Become a part of this family-owned and operated team who has built a growing business on premium equipment solutions and unmatched customer service. We need a dual-threat professional who is just as comfortable diagnosing a complex mechanical issue on a CAT machine as they are managing digital service orders and communicating with clients.

The Role

This is a full-time on-site position where shop leadership meets high-level technical execution. You will bridge the gap between office administration and hands-on repair ensuring their rental fleet and customer machinery stay in peak operating condition.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Service Operations: Take ownership of the service queue manage digital work orders from start to finish and maintain clear customer-friendly communication.
  • Lead the Wrenching: Diagnose troubleshoot and execute major mechanical electrical and hydraulic repairs on heavy-duty construction equipment (with a heavy focus on CAT machinery).
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize computer-based diagnostic tools and shop management software to track parts log service histories and optimize shop efficiency.
  • Uphold Standards: Act as the lead technical expert on the floor mentoring other technicians and ensuring every job meets our rigorous quality and safety standards.
