Job Summary
For over 80 years our well-established mission-driven client has supported the Seattle-area community by providing subsidized rental housing and rental assistance for low-income elderly and disabled residents. Theyre currently in need of a contract Test Lead to develop and own the test strategy test plan and test approach for their HR and Payroll implementation. Experience testing HRIS/HCM systems during an implementation is essential as is experience leading UAT and parallel payroll testing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of talented mission-driven professionals who are improving our local Seattle community.
Hybrid remote opportunity: onsite 2 days a week (Greater Downtown Seattle area)
Contract through December 2027 (w/full benefits)
An ideal candidate will have the following:
- 8 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in Test Lead/QA leadership
- Experience testing HR & Payroll systems (Dayforce Lawson Workday PeopleSoft etc.)
- Experience with UAT parallel payroll testing and payroll reconciliation
- Experience developing test strategy and coordinating end-to-end test cycles
- Strong defect management and triage experience
- Knowledge of HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle compensation benefits time tracking etc.)
- Background in integration testing (APIs middleware SFTP etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
