Do you have a passion for safety leadership transportation operations and driving operational excellence Air Products is seeking a Terminal Supervisor for our La Salle IL facility who demonstrates a strong commitment to safety regulatory compliance and team development. This role is responsible for leading terminal distribution operations supporting a safety-first culture and ensuring the safe efficient and reliable delivery of products while overseeing drivers maintenance personnel and day-to-day terminal activities. Required Skills

• Strong background in terminal/distribution operations with a thorough understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance.

• Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams in a safety-sensitive environment.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence with experience implementing and sustaining safety programs.

• Ability to lead coach and mentor personnel through observations training safety meetings and performance management.

• Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

• Experience working closely with logistics operations maintenance and customer-facing teams.

• Proficiency with computer systems and business applications.

• Knowledge of distribution processes inventory management and delivery operations.

• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and vehicle reliability programs.

• Self-motivated results-oriented professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to conduct customer site safety assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing ladders and stairs lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a high-noise industrial environment.

• Ability to satisfy on-call and call-in requirements as needed.

Minimum Hiring Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant terminal distribution logistics transportation or operations leadership experience preferred.

• Strong focus on safety leadership and regulatory compliance.

• Experience supervising drivers transportation personnel or frontline operations employees.

• Willingness and ability to travel monthly to conduct driver safety observations and support operational activities.

• Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record required.

• Ability to work Monday through Friday and provide on-call support during off-hours as needed.

The expected pay range is $86605 - $144240 plus bonus. This is the range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position as individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
