Job Summary
The Jacobs School of Engineering at UCSD has multiple opportunities for temporary non-tenure track lecturers (Unit 18) in our Masters of Advanced Studies (MAS) Degree Programs. Unit 18 Lecturers are governed by the Memorandum of Understanding (Contract UCnet).
We seek applicants to teach at the graduate level in the masters degree programs Convergent Systems Engineering (CoSE) or the Architecture-Based Enterprise Systems Engineering (AESE).

Additional responsibilities of the Unit 18 Lecturer will include:
Grading: Lecturers are responsible for turning in grades and other student records by the assigned due date.
Feedback: Lecturers should provide constructive feedback to students. They may also advise students on academic matters.
Other responsibilities: Lecturers may be required to supervise teaching assistants keep office hours and respond to inquiries from students departments and other university personnel. They may also be asked to guide senior students in their independent study research.
