Technician 2 Temperature Controls- Shop

Bring your energy to Aggreko as HVAC Technician 2 (Shop) based in Pearland TX.

Youll perform maintenance diagnostics repairs testing and commissioning of Aggreko power generation and HVAC equipment. This role supports both shop and field operations by ensuring equipment is safe reliable and ready for customer deployment while adhering to Aggrekos safety quality and operational standards.

What youll do as HVAC Technician 2 (Shop):

• Youll be based out ofPEARLAND TXservice center and can expect to work in the Central Repair Shop
• Youll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends and there is a potential for travel
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop
• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop

You are:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 4-7 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment performing inspections maintenance and repairs
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements along with reading and knowing schematics
• Based on the customer requirements you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid drivers license

• Availability to work the assignedschedule travel to work locations (if needed) and be onstandbyfor work outside of regularly scheduledshifts
• Must be able to standwalkand sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrainwith functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that willpermitwork to be safely performed from ground / floor level tofull overhead level
• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small itemsfunctional hand-eye coordination andfunctionally grip with adequate strength to safelyhold tools and stair railing or ladders
• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment which includes being able to lift (60 lbs) push/pull (80 lbs) carry (60 lbs) climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs) stoop kneel and squat
