Technician 2

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Technician 2 Power HVAC or Temperature Control based in Mobile AL.

What youll do:

• Be based out of our Mobile AL service center with the opportunity to work overtime and weekends and potential for travel.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.

• Work either on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.

You are:

• A High School diploma or GED.

• 3 years of experience working on power generators HVAC or temperature control equipment performing inspections maintenance and repairs.

• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements along with reading and understanding schematics.

• A valid drivers license; depending on customer requirements you may also be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or a valid DOT medical card.

• The ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75lbs.

• Availability to work the assignedschedule travel to work locations (if needed) and be onstandbyfor work outside of regularly scheduledshifts

• Must be able to standwalkand sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrainwith functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices

• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that willpermitwork to be safely performed from ground / floor level tofull overhead level

• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small itemsfunctional hand-eye coordination andfunctionally grip with adequate strength to safelyhold tools and stair railing or ladders

• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment which includes being able to lift (60 lbs) push/pull (80 lbs) carry (60 lbs) climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs) stoop kneel and squat
