We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to support the development of clear comprehensive and professional documentation for complex IT infrastructure and cloud-based projects. This role is responsible for translating technical concepts into accessible content for a wide range of stakeholders and ensuring consistency across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Development & Editing
Collaborate with architects engineers and technical teams to gather and translate complex technical information into clear documentation
Review edit and proofread project documentation including project plans solicitations architecture designs and security plans
Ensure all materials meet standards for clarity grammar and compliance with requirements
Content Standardization & Visualization
Develop organize and standardize diagrams flowcharts and visual aids to improve comprehension and consistency
Ensure consistency in formatting structure and terminology across all documentation
Document Management & Version Control
Maintain document versioning and change control processes
Ensure all deliverables are properly indexed and the latest approved versions are accessible
Knowledge Transfer & Support
Assist in developing knowledge transfer materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Support internal teams with documentation best practices
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in IT technical writing for complex infrastructure or software development projects
5 years of experience using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word Visio (or equivalent) and SharePoint (or similar systems)
Strong experience creating and managing technical diagrams and documentation assets
Bachelors degree
