Job Summary:
We are looking for aTechnical Specialist in Concord NC. As a technical specialist you would Install maintain troubleshoot modify and repair a wide variety of complex automated production equipment and calibrate tools to adapt to the specific needs. Troubleshooting includes both electrical and mechanical issues. Function as group leader for areas assuring uniform workflow and helping co-workers and other departments as needed.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mustbeabletowireelectricallyandtroubleshootcircuitsquicklyutilizingcontrolschematics ladder diagrams and point wiring without documentation to avoidshut downs on equipment.
- Must be able to add and modify control circuitry as required to facilitateimprovements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair related mechanical and pneumatic functionsand controls as required to facilitate repairs and improvements.
- Provide technical support and assistance to maximize yield.
- Determine root causes of chronic failures and take steps to eliminate/alleviate.
- Instruct and assist operators to assure quality and output requirements are met.
- Generate and maintain records as required by specific processes. Assist indefining process verification procedures.
- Set-up and maintain as required MRO spare parts inventory requirements.
- Perform and record preventive maintenance and equipment calibration asrequired.
- Participate as a team member in product and/or process troubleshootingprocesses as required to solve existing problems and as a means of providingcost improvement for the end product.
- Keep supervisor informed in all areas effecting product quality and output.
- Interface and work directly with other support personnel i.e. Set-up ProcessProduct Engineers.
- Equipment used: All equipment used by Maintenance Technicians plusspecialized electrical test troubleshooting and programming equipment such asVOM Oscilloscope programming terminals and other supporting equipment asrequired.
- Materials used: All types of electrical and electromechanical control equipmentincluding various PLCs sensors distributed control schemes various input andoutput devices analog and digital control devices DC and stepper drivesvarious motion and motor controls and other electrical and control equipment asrequired.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair related mechanical pneumatic and hydraulicfunctions and controlsas required to facilitate repairs and improvements.
- Other related duties as needed.
- Total responsibility to eliminate non-conformance within quality of products.
- High school diploma required. Additional college and vocational courses
- preferred and may be required to broaden the individuals educational background.
- Required: 5 years maintenance experience in an injection molding environment
- Required to be able to read write and perform basic math. Prefer high school
- degree or GED.
- Experience: Minimum three months manufacturing experience.
- Prefer fork-liftexperience and data entry experience.
- Basic reading and writing skills in English

- Able to communicate effectively
- Able to lift to 40 lbs.
- Able to work overtime when necessary
- Able to stand the majority of the workday.
- Able to perform repetitive job functions; hand mobility bending kneeling
- pushing and pulling.
- Manual dexterity required for assembly and operating tools andmachines.
- Ability to safely operate moving equipment properly without risk to selfothers and equipment.
- Ability and applied knowledge of the material handler job description.
- Basic electrical control trouble shooting
- Use of a variety of precision measuring and electrical instruments
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience with injection molding machines
- Welding experience
- Operate forklift skyjack and boom lift
- Maintain and repair HVAC equipment
- Maintain repair and operate boiler and chilled water systems
- Complete preventative maintenance procedures are followed
- Ability to interface and work directly with maintenance staff and other supportgroups
- Wire electrically size accordingly and plumb both air and steam by either verbal
- instructions or from a print
- Ability to work overtime as needed
