We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to manage and oversee all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget.
Position Overview:
Manage and oversee all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget.
Overall responsibility for managing scope cost schedule internal staffing and outside vendors and contractual deliverable.
Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
Review quality assurance procedures test plans and strategies.
Minimize our exposure and risk on project.
Ensure project documents are complete current and stored appropriately.
Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Manage project budget.
Determine appropriate revenue recognition ensure timely and accurate invoicing and monitor receivables for projects.
Work in conjunction with leadership to ensure projects are in scope.
Provide support and coaching to emerging managers.
Lead daily and weekly touchpoint meetings with internal teams and clients.
Monitor project KPIs.
Collaborate closely with the clients during UAT testing to identify log and address findings in a timely matter and according to project needs.
Partial telecommuting permitted 2 days per week from within the Duluth GA MSA.
Education and Experience:
Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a closely related field of study.
Must have four (4) years of experience as an IT Project Manager Project Engineer Technology Delivery Manager or closely related position.
The four (4) years of experience must have included experience with application programming database and system design including: Project management tools such as MS Project Jira Confluence; Software such as Microsoft Suite and Bamboo; Development methodologies such as Agile Scrum Waterfall; and Experience with technologies such as APIs Cloud Services Network infrastructure & architecture CI/CD pipelines.
