Technical PM with Insurance Background

Description

• We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives with a strong focus on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) execution delivery governance and cross-functional coordination. This individual will manage technical projects from inception through implementation partnering closely with internal technology teams business stakeholders and external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery.
• The ideal candidate brings a strong technical delivery background excellent organizational leadership and experience managing enterprise application initiatives in structured environments. Experience supporting Finance and Accounting applications is preferred but not a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)including planning requirements design development testing deployment and post-launch support
• Build manage and maintain detailed project plans milestones dependencies risk logs and executive status reporting
• Serve as the primary project lead coordinating across internal stakeholders technical teams business partners and third-party implementation vendors
• Drive accountability with external implementation partners to ensure deliverables timelines issue resolution and overall project execution remain on track
• Manage vendor relationships implementation activities project governance and escalation management throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Partner with engineering architecture QA infrastructure business analysts and business teams to align project objectives and execution plans
• Facilitate Agile and project governance ceremonies including status meetings planning sessions steering committee updates and stakeholder communications
• Utilize Jira for sprint planning backlog tracking issue management dependency monitoring and delivery transparency
• Manage scope changes competing priorities and cross-team dependencies in fast-paced enterprise environments
• Support initiatives involving finance accounting ERP or business-critical enterprise applications

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Technical Project Management Technology Delivery or Program Management
• Strong experience leading projects across structured SDLC environments
• Proven experience managing complex cross-functional technical initiatives involving internal teams and external vendors
• Hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking delivery coordination and issue management
• Experience managing third-party implementation vendors and holding partners accountable to delivery commitments
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams business stakeholders leadership and vendor partners
• Strong risk management dependency management issue resolution and executive communication skills
• Experience coordinating testing cycles release planning and production deployments
