Job Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will lead maintenance activities for assigned production areas to support safe reliable and efficient plant operations. You will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs coordinate maintenance resources to meet production demands monitor equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives that improve reliability product quality and cost effectiveness. You will provide technical guidance to maintenance associates while promoting a strong culture of employee safety food safety teamwork and operational excellence.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule maintenance work to optimize workforce utilization and support production requirements.

  • Monitor equipment downtime and implement corrective actions to improve operational reliability.

  • Analyze production line performance and identify maintenance and mechanical trends.

  • Train coach and direct maintenance associates on safe work practices and standard operating procedures.

  • Promote teamwork and collaboration to achieve plant and company objectives.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with regulatory agencies and plant stakeholders.

  • Control labor costs maintenance spending and departmental overtime.

  • Manage the purchase of maintenance supplies and repair parts while maintaining quality standards.

  • Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained in a safe operating condition.

  • Enforce plant safety programs and support compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department and production operations.

  • Lead predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis vibration analysis engine-compressor analysis and infrared thermography.

  • Evaluate preventive and predictive maintenance frequencies to maximize equipment reliability and resource utilization.

  • Support maintenance and capital projects through technical expertise and equipment reliability leadership.

  • Prioritize personnel safety food safety and plant uptime in all maintenance activities.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or another technical discipline preferred.

  • 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.

  • Experience interpreting safety rules blueprints schematics operating instructions maintenance procedures and technical documentation.

  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.

  • Experience developing maintenance procedures job documentation and employee evaluations.

  • Computer proficiency in maintenance and business systems.

  • Computer-aided design and drafting experience preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

You may be required to walk around the facility climb stairs/ladders kneel or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large moving equipment. Noise levels can be high and temperatures may vary

Compensation

Pay Range:$64000-$95000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal Conagra employees Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
