Team Lead 3rd shift

Under the direction of the Supervisor the 3rd shift Team Lead is responsible for assisting with production operations material processing scheduling record keeping and for the safety of all personnel working within the assigned area. Supports encourages and complies with all company policies and procedures and ensures the team follows safe practices and produces high quality :Team Lead assists in troubleshooting scheduling training and ensuring proper communication and data flow to with allocating resources to appropriate workstations based on production needs and assign tasks Lead should be fully trained in all processes and procedures related to the team follows SOPs and encourages and complies with all company policies and procedures and leads by suggestions for efficiency within the trains and instructs associates in all aspects of work and in the safe operation of the equipment and machinery necessary for their hands-on with associates to ensure products are produced to satisfaction of all policies and operate equipment to cover for associates during breaks or when department is short staffed due call outs / scheduled communication with vendors associates and managers for successful collaboration and with GMP requirements; required functions and documentation will be covered in GMP training and during on-the-job duties as :High school diploma orGEDHave 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment (required)Experience with FDA and GMP regulated industries preferredPossess excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skillsBe able to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace changeBe customer/ associate focused and results drivenOrganized able to multi-task and prioritizeProactively makes sound decisions using discretionBilingual in both English and Spanish is a plusWork additional shifts beyond the regular work week as required to support the needs of the companyPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50lbsWork environment may be exposed to powders chemicals and allergens (peanuts tree nuts milk dairy eggs wheat gluten soy fish and shellfish).Ability to work in a physically challenging environment including bending twisting and standing for up to 8 hours is this something you would be comfortable withWe proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
