- Teach core tax concepts including federal and state income tax preparation deductions and credits
- Facilitate classroom discussions exercises and hands-on tax return practice
- Evaluate student progress through assessments quizzes and feedback
- Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning
- Stay current on IRS tax laws regulations and updates to ensure accurate instruction
- Collaborate with management to align curriculum with Jackson Hewitt standards and training materials
- 3 year Prior experience in tax preparation and teaching.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and income tax preparation
- Previous teaching training or instructional experience preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to break down complex tax concepts into clear understandable lessons
- Proficiency with tax software and basic computer applications
- Patient motivating and student-focused demeanor
- 6 week course 6.5 teaching hours per week in office
