Principal Accountabilities:

• Inspect maintain and repair surface mobile equipment including loaders forklifts trucks service vehicles and support equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hoists winches and associated mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems
• Maintain and repair material handling systems including conveyors belts pulleys gearboxes bins chutes pumps crushers and screens
• Diagnose mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical faults and complete repairs including component replacement adjustments and rebuilds
• Operate forklifts and mobile lifts from designated locations with little variation
• Perform welding cutting and light fabrication on carbon steel and stainless steel for guards supports and equipment repairs
• Safely operate equipment to test functionality reposition machinery and verify completed repairs
• Conduct routine inspections and report unsafe conditions or equipment deficiencies
• Read and interpret manuals schematics work orders and maintenance documentation
• Coordinate with operations contractors and maintenance team members to minimize downtime
• Follow all company safety policies lockout/tagout procedures and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic use of a computer
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advance notice
• Mechanical maintenance experience in industrial mining or heavy equipment environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years of equivalent work experience
• Welding experience and strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with material handling systems and mobile equipment preferred
