Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor Central Services you will lead a dedicated team in managing the distribution processing and sterilization of medical equipment so they can provide our clinical caregivers with the high-quality tools needed to deliver exceptional care.

Every day you will oversee the 24-hour operations of our Central Services department ensuring processes remain safe efficient and reliable. You will be expected to maintain strict adherence to hospital standards foster a culture of kindness and excellence and provide exemplary service to all departments you support. By managing these essential functions you help make the healing presence of God known in our ministry.

To be successful in this role you must have strong leadership experience in a clinical or hospital setting a thorough understanding of sterilization processes and a heartfelt commitment to serving the common good.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years of experince to include leadership or supervisor role preferable in a hospital or medical center
  • Demonstrated customer service interpersonal organizational and oral and written communication skills.
  • Additionally this position requires effective problem-solving and training skills.
  • Must be proficiet in Microsoft Excel and Word applicaions

Preferred Experience and Knowlege are:

  • Bachelors Degree and Surgical Technician and/or surgical supply experience advanced knowledge of inventory control programs (Windows) Perpetual Automatic Recording (PAR) reduction program and SSI.
  • For positions in Sterile Processing certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician through the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management (IAHCSMM) or Certified Sterile processing and Distribution Supervisor through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) is strongly preferred.
