As a Supply ChainPlanner at Senra Systems you willbe responsible forensuring material readiness for production andmaintainingaccurateclear-to-build (CtB) status for assigned work orders. You will serve as a key coordination point between Supply Chain Inventory Production Engineering and Programs to proactivelyidentifyshortagesexpeditematerialsallocateinventory and remove material-related barriers to production.

This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong organizational skills urgency and attention to detail. Success is measured by material readiness clear-to-build attainment shortage resolution and ensuring production starts on time.

What youll own:

  • Manage material readiness for assigned orders from release through production start.
  • Maintainaccurateclear-to-build (CtB) status and projected material availability dates for all assigned work orders.
  • Monitor material shortages and proactively drive resolution before theyimpactproduction schedules.
  • Allocate available inventory across work orders based on production priorities and customer commitments.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers toexpeditecritical material deliveries.
  • Partner with Inventory tovalidatematerial availability transactions receiving status and inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Engineeringand Programsto resolve BOM discrepanciesobtainalternate part approvals and material-related engineering issues.
  • Support work order readiness reviews and provide material status updates during production planning meetings.
  • Maintainaccurateshortage tracking supplier updates and recovery plans within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and ensure delivery dates align with production requirements.
  • Escalate material risks and supply constraints that mayimpacton-time delivery.
  • Partner with Production Coordinators and Supervisors to ensure production priorities align with material availability.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring shortages and material planning issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of material planning processes clear-to-build workflows and planning data accuracy.

What youll bring to the team:

  • 3 years of experience in material planning production control supply chain procurement inventory management or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiencyin ERP/MRP systems andSQL.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Production Engineering Inventory Procurement Quality and Program Management teams.
  • Strong senseof urgency and ownership in resolving material-related issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and execution focus.
  • Ability toidentifyrisks and drive issue resolution with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able tolift upto 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods (8 hours).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace defense electronics cable assembly or wire harness manufacturing experience.
  • Experience managing supplierexpeditesand shortage resolution.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experiencepartneringwith IT Systems to build and improve ERP material planning tools and reports.
  • Experience usingPowerBIand large data set-analysis savvy.

Key Deliverables

  • Maintainaccurateclear-to-build status for all assigned work orders.
  • Ensure material shortages areidentifiedand escalatedASAP.
  • Drive closure of material shortages late supplier deliveries and inventory issuesimpactingproduction.
  • Maintain recovery plans for all material-constrained work orders.
  • Support achievement of factory on-time delivery and schedule attainment goals.
  • Ensure production starts on time through proactive management of materialreadiness and supply risk

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be based on experience qualifications and other job-related factors.
  • Salary Range: $75000-$100000
  • This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach CA.
