Job Summary
What you will do
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for developing coordinating and evaluating the supplier management system and materials program. Fostering strong relationships with the supplier base by conducting regular meetings and interactions. The analyst ensures the consistent application of quality standards and procedures maintaining the supply base at an optimal level. Demonstrated leadership within the Materials and Operations functions is expected including problem solving training others and achieving cost savings. The position is composed of 80% tactical and 20% strategic responsibilities.
- Manage purchase orders (Regular Orders Past Dues Expedites Defers and Cancellations)
- Oversee supplier management activities
- Determine part disposition
- Control document revisions
- Implement inventory control and reduction strategies
- Assist with the implementation of new programs
- Demonstrate commodity expertise in one or more commodities
- Communicate updates to relevant departments as needed or during the absence of the leader
Required
- High school diploma plus 6 years of relevant experience or
- Associate degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or
- Bachelors degree
- 0- years of professional experience in materials or a closely related discipline or demonstrable relevant competencies
- Proficiency with JDE systems
$62400 - $87900 USD Annual
