Supervisor – IS Financial Systems (SAP FICO)

Westlake Management Services Houston TX seeks Supervisor IS Financial Systems (SAP FICO). Worksite: 5444 Westheimer Road Suite 700 Houston TX 77056. Must put job code (R32599) on resume and on cover letter.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide functional and technical subject matter expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling while also supervising a team of analysts and contractors.

• Supervise a team of 23 full-time employees and contractors provide mentoring workload allocation and performance reviews.

• Design configure and support SAP FI (GL including New GL AR AP Asset Accounting Bank Accounting) and CO (Product Costing Actual Costing Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting Internal Orders).

• Configure Project Systems (PS) for asset capitalization and project settlements (e.g. expansions turnaround projects).

• Support month-end and year-end close processes: cost estimates foreign currency valuation assessments/distributions depreciation postings reconciliations.

• Work on integration with Procure-to-Pay (MM VIM Vertex Concur) and Order-to-Cash (SD Billing Credit Collections GetPaid).

• Work on integration with Production Planning (PP) Plant Maintenance (PM) and other SAP modules.

• Manage support for third-party finance systems including OpenText VIM Vertex O Series BlackLine SAP Concur FIS GetPaid and FIS Integrity.

• Lead SAP S/4HANA migration and ERP upgrade projects.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP IFRS Local GAAP and SOX requirements.

• Provide project management for large-scale financial system initiatives including acquisitions and system integrations.

• Work with key business users and process owners in the Finance & Accounting organization Procurement Customer Service and Credit Management teams to articulate leading practices and to identify opportunities to enhance & improve current processes define project scope and project deliverables manage and deliver projects train and support users.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Information Systems orComputer Science or Business Administration.

Minimum Experience Requirements: 8 years of experience in accounting Finance & SAP systems.
