Job Summary
The Supervisor Hospitalist Program will provide operational leadership and administrative oversight for a growing hospitalist program. This role supports physicians advanced practice providers hospitalist assistants and department leadership through coordination of daily operations staffing and communication workflows. The Supervisor serves as a key operational resource for the department helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while supporting program growth and ongoing improvement initiatives. This position works closely with department clinical leadership to address operational needs support staff development and promote effective collaboration across teams and departments.
Schedule:
- Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Monday Friday daytime hours
- Occasional evening/weekend/holiday responsibilities as needed
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $60132.80per year and increases with experience.
- Salary range: $60138.80 -$90168.00 per year
- Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision and leadership for the Hospitalist Assistant team.
Oversee daily operations of the Hospitalist Assistant Office including patient assignment workflows and communication processes.
Coordinate staffing scheduling payroll and coverage for Hospitalist Assistants.
Support onboarding training performance management and staff development.
Serve as a primary operational resource for physicians advanced practice providers and support staff.
Identify and address operational issues and collaborate with department leadership on process improvement initiatives.
Support implementation of department policies procedures and operational priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree (AA or AS) required.
Three years of lead supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in healthcare administration business management nursing or a related field.
Five years of lead supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Additional Qualifications
Experience supporting physicians and advanced practice providers.
Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of healthcare operations scheduling and administrative workflows.
