As a Clinical Nursing Supervisor in our OB Emergency Department you will play a vital role in guiding clinical teams ensuring high-quality patient care and supporting families during some of lifes most critical and meaningful moments.

- Coordinate patient placement and staff assignments to ensure safe efficient care delivery
- Support and assist clinical staff with patient care and unit operations
- Serve as a clinical resource for nurses patients and families
- Step in as a staff nurse as needed based on patient acuity
- Supervise and direct clinical activities responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians leadership and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in staff education onboarding and ongoing training
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with departmental operations including staffing scheduling and resource utilization
- Help maintain inventory equipment and overall unit environment
- Represent the department on committees and organizational initiatives
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Licensure: Active RN license (or compact license) meeting all state board requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
- Certification:
- BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit (e.g. ACLS NRP C-EFM PALS etc.)
- Previous supervisor or leadership experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in OB emergency or high-acuity settings
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts
- Frequent bending kneeling reaching and movement required
