Kassouf & Co. seeks a talented and critical thinking individual to join our expanding audit practice which is one of the fastest-growing areas of the firm. You will be a part of our fast-paced hands-on learning environment where you will gain a solid skill set that will help advance your career in accounting. As you grow with the firm ongoing opportunities and increased responsibilities will be given and expected.
Basic requirements include the aptitude to:
- Meet client expectations through execution of activities related to engagements and other client needs.
- Communicate with Director/Manager throughout all phases of engagements including client communication planning and scheduling.
- Sense of urgency to complete work in a diligent and accurate manner with attention to both internal and client deadlines.
Expected Qualifications are as follows:
Education and Credentials:
- BA or BS degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college/university.
- Active CPA License.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of public accounting experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good judgment and professional skepticism.
- Excellent analysis and observation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers staff and clients.
- Knowledge of accounting software packages and MS Office: Word Excel and Outlook.
