Role: The Superintendent leads the construction process for large-scale industrial and commercial and nbsp;
projects ensuring all activities align with the established design budget and schedule. This role involves and nbsp;
planning scheduling organizing directing and controlling all on-site construction activities. The ideal and nbsp;
candidate will have a strong background in managing large industrial or commercial building projects and nbsp;
ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality. and nbsp;
and nbsp;
This role requires rotating travel across Canada primarily in Alberta Manitoba and Ontario. and nbsp;
Who You Are: You have at least 10 years of related or relevant experience as a Superintendent. Specific and nbsp;
project experience shouldinclude food processing distribution and warehouse facilities with aggressive and nbsp;
schedules. Experience in site development of sites between 15 and 100 acres and working in tight and nbsp;
urbancore environments would also be relevant to this role. and nbsp; and nbsp;
You have high standards for safety and the well-being of all site workers. You have excellent and nbsp;
communication skillsand work productively with others. and nbsp; and nbsp;
Key Responsibilities: and nbsp;
Field and site management of the project(s) and all project activities. and nbsp; and nbsp;
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. and nbsp; and nbsp;
Manage and coordinate subcontractors suppliers and on-site personnel. and nbsp; and nbsp;
Lead site meetings maintain clear communication and resolve conflicts or challenges as they and nbsp;
arise and nbsp; and nbsp;
Work closely with project managers clients and other stakeholders to maintain open and nbsp;
communication anticipate challenges and meet project requirements and nbsp; and nbsp;
Manage and motivate site crews subcontractors and suppliers to align with project timelines and and nbsp;
standards. and nbsp; and nbsp;
Manage resources effectively including labor materials and equipment. and nbsp; and nbsp;
Ensure adherence to federal state and local building codes and regulations and nbsp; and nbsp;
and nbsp;
Required Experience and Qualifications: and nbsp;
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in construction site management and nbsp;
Skilled Trade Certification preferred and nbsp;
Ability to travel within the country and nbsp; and nbsp;
Ability to travel to US (dual citizenship) is an asset and nbsp;
Required Skills and Knowledge: and nbsp;
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook SharePoint Word Excel Teams). and nbsp;
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. and nbsp;
Strong delegation skills with the ability to set expectations and monitor progress. and nbsp; and nbsp;
Good physical condition and stamina. and nbsp;
