Job Summary

This is a union eligible SUMMARYHealthRIGHT 360 a nonprofit organization and a family of programs is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services including mental health care residential and outpatient substance use treatment and primary health services. Additionally we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health fostering resilience and facilitating Well is located on the Be Well Orange County campus which brings together mental health care services uniting public private academic and faith-based organizations in a cooperative partnership that helps facilitate communication bridge gaps and eliminate barriers to care. The result is a more compassionate system of care that works better for everyone in the community. The 24/7/365 residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program provides 3.1 3.3 and 3.5 ASAM levels of care for males and females as well as 3.2 withdrawal management. There are 15 beds allocated for 3.1/3.5 15 beds for 3.3 and 12 beds for 3.2 for a total of 42 SUD Counselor (Overnight) is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team that supports our clients through assessment of their needs and strengths in support of their health and recovery. This in-person role involves providing counseling in both individual and group settings delivering curricula in accordance with program-specific requirements offering case management and assisting clients in navigating systems of careall while fostering a supportive treatment RESPONSIBILITIESTreatment SettingFacilitate group counseling sessions and community link clients to both internal and external resources based on their treatment classes on treatment-related topics to assist clients in meeting their treatment with each client and other available internal and external resources to develop/maintain treatment plans transition plans progress notes and appropriate updates in support of the health and recovery needs of the crisis intervention and communicate with the treatment up on clients treatment and document client medication secure storage and proper accounting of client clients to offsite appointments as client duties and sign off upon clients to fulfill their weekly intake process and maintain clean or dispose of biohazard and clean rooms and common and SecurityMaintain safety and security of clients in the periodic house property and room to medical emergencies including substance use tests such as urinalysis and clients and maintain observation group and individual counseling sessions in a timely manner per program and/or contract enter data in electronic client updates and incidents documentation must be maintained in accordance with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating discharge paperwork and agency weekly logs of client and respond to communications in a timely and Other ResponsibilitiesAttend meetings and actively residential service delivery and facilitate celebrations and special on weekends and holidays as assigned training on full compliance with credential perform other assigned Certification or LicensureHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in Health and Human Services Social Work Psychology or other related field as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor from an accredited California agency (CCAPP CAADE CADTP).Valid First Aid and CPR as a registered substance abuse or behavioral disorder counselor or recovery specialist in community mental health setting preferred.
