Substitute Teaching Information Session (Virtual)

Join us on Thursday August 13th at 6pm for our Substitute Teaching Information Session (Virtual).

This information session is specifically for candidates who are interested in learning more about substitute teaching within Boston Public Schools. Youll hear from our Recruitment Specialists and the Manager of Substitute Central Omar Phillips about the process to become a substitute and its benefits.

Please note: to be considered for a substitute teaching position candidates must possess a Bachelors degree from a four year accredited college/university.

Some positions may require candidates to possess a Massachusetts Moderate Disabilities license or Massachusetts ESL license. Candidates may also be enrolled in a state approved pathway program to obtain either license to be approved for hire in these positions.
