Student Worker Technology Temporary Summer of 2026

Junction City School District is looking for three Junction City High School student to do some work with our technology department over the summer of will not exceed 25 total for the summer.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

1. Prefer students that are currently enrolled in Junction City High School;
2. Basic knowledge of computer hardware and computer system;
3. Must be willing to be fingerprinted for a criminal history records check;
4. Inspired by big challenges driven to learn and grow and dedicated;
5. Students will complete various chromebook repairs salvage and inventory techniques and may be asked to assist in moving of old and outdated technology within all buildings in the district;
6. Students will learn iOS and iPad setup procedures using Mosyle MDS and may be asked to move and inventory iPads and Macs from a variety of school sites;
7. Students may be asked to complete other computer repairs and computer maintenance as needed;
8. Being selected for a project all depends on the business and needs as well as the learning needs and interests of interns;
9. Students will be responsible for taking ownership of their project and developing a project management plan work breakdown structure and schedule to ensure all requirements and features requested are understood and delivered on time;
10. High school workers includes all work responsibilities performed by students enrolled in Junction City High School including attendance timeliness completion of work and working in a safe manner.
