Job Summary

Job Title:	Masonicare Independent Living Recreation Intern
Department:	Office of Community Engagement
Student Employment Type:	Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:	Assist with planning preparing setting up and cleaning up approved recreation programs and events. Welcome residents encourage participation and provide courteous program assistance. Help facilitate games crafts discussions wellness activities and special events under staff supervision. Prepare calendars flyers sign-up sheets activity materials and program supplies. Track attendance gather participant feedback and help summarize program participation. Maintain safe clean organized and welcoming activity spaces. Follow resident-rights privacy safety infection-prevention and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications:	Interest in recreation event management hospitality aging services or a related field. Positive creative dependable and comfortable interacting with older adults. Strong interpersonal communication organization and customer-service skills. Ability to follow directions work as part of a team and assist with light program setup.
Hours of Position:	Flexible schedule arranged with the supervisor around the students class schedule; hours may vary based on department needs and approved events.
