Structural Bridge Engineering Specialist

STV has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Bridge Engineering Specialist to join our Transportation and Infrastructure team in Irvine Rancho Cucamonga Los Angeles San Francisco Phoenix or Denver. What Youll Do

• Collaborate as a key member of STVs West Region Bridge Practice supporting a growing team focused on delivering high-quality transportation infrastructure solutions.
• Assist with the structural analysis and design of highway rail pedestrian and related transportation structures across a variety of project types.
• Support bridge design tasks from concept through final deliverables while taking ownership of assigned work and contributing to overall project success.
• Partners with project managers engineers and discipline leads to support project planning budgets schedules specifications and successful delivery.
• Help maintain quality and consistency across project deliverables by applying sound engineering judgment and attention to detail.
• Contribute to plan production through CAD markups layout development and coordination with the broader design team as needed including exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM).

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required; Masters degree with a structural emphasis is a plus.
• 02 years of experience supporting structural or bridge engineering projects through coursework internships or professional practice.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire
• Foundational structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of the multidisciplinary coordination needed to deliver transportation and infrastructure projects successfully.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities coordinate assignments and meet project deadlines in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to build strong working relationships with teammates managers and clients.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD with a willingness to continue building technical design and drafting capabilities including BIM.
