Job Summary

The Senior Superintendent will oversee all onsite activities for multiple commercial construction projects in the Memphis area ensuring they are completed safely on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

DaytoDay Duties

• Lead daily construction operations coordinating subcontractors suppliers and field crews.
• Develop enforce and monitor site safety programs in line with OSHA regulations.
• Prepare and deliver daily progress reports to project managers and senior leadership.
• Manage material deliveries equipment utilization and workforce scheduling to optimize productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship enforce quality control and resolve any deficiencies.
• Handle change orders track project documentation and assist with closeout procedures.
• Mentor junior superintendents and field personnel fostering a safetyfirst culture.
• Maintain clear communication with owners architects and internal teams to address questions and changes promptly.

Essential Qualifications (MustHaves)

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related disciplineor an equivalent blend of education and experience.
• 1015 years of progressive experience in commercial construction with at least 5 years in a superintendent or senior supervisory role.
• Valid Tennessee drivers license and clean driving record.
• Deep understanding of construction methods building codes and contract administration.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary crews and manage projects ranging from $5M to $30M.
• Strong leadership problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact effectively with clients architects and internal teams.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g. Procore Viewpoint) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications and contract documents.

Desired Experience (NicetoHaves)

• Experience managing projects with complex trade coordination (concrete steel MEP finishes).
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining exemplary safety records.
• Familiarity with lean construction principles and valueengineering techniques.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30Hour PMP or CSM.
• Experience using advanced scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6) and costcontrol software.
