TheSr.Process Engineeris responsible fordeveloping andoptimizingmanufacturing processes for oligonucleotideproductionworkflows. This role supports the scale-up ofcutting-edgeDNA synthesis technologies from R&D into production and drives process robustness efficiency and quality performance.
This position reports to the Sr. Site Manager and is part of theoperations grouplocatedin Sunnyvale CA and will be an on-site role.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Execute technology transfer ofoligonucleotidesynthesis workflows from R&D into manufacturing ensuring successful scale-up and process stability
- Developoptimize and sustain manufacturing processes to improve yield cycle time and throughput
- Lead process validation and qualification activities for new equipment materials and workflows
- Analyze process performance data toidentifytrends troubleshoot process-related issuesimpactingproduction performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
The essential requirements of the jobinclude:
Bachelors degree in Biochemistry Chemical Engineering Molecular Biology or related discipline
Several years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment
Experience with nucleic acid manufacturing molecular biology workflows or other production processes
Demonstrated experience in process development or scale-up or technology transfer
Experience authoring andmaintainingtechnical documentation such as SOPs and validation protocols
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:if applicable for role
Ability to travel 10% of the time during tech transfer phase
Ability to work in a laboratory/manufacturing environment including standing for extended periods
Ability to lift move or carry equipment up to 50lb
It would be a plus if you alsopossess:
5 years of relevant experience
Lean / Six Sigma certification
Experience with process troubleshooting root cause analysis andStatistical Process Control (SPC) and implementinglaboratory automation

Theannualsalaryrange for this role is$117000-$128000.This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range ofpossible compensationfor this role at the time of this posting. This range may bemodifiedin the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offercomprehensivepackage of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
