Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager Procurement / E&PSlocatedin Raynham Massachusetts or Raritan New Jersey.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics companyoperatingasDePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may berequired regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview

The Sr. Manager Procurement / E&PSis responsible forleading procurement strategy and execution for Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) at DePuy Synthes. This role ensures effective sourcing supplier management and cost optimization for facilities capital projects engineering services and sitebased operations. The position plays a critical role in enabling business continuity operational excellence and longterm value creation through strong supplier partnerships and disciplined procurement practices particularly during a period of organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement strategy and execution for Engineering & Property Services including facilities management capital projects maintenance and engineering services.
  • Partner closely with E&PS Operations Finance and Site Leadership to align procurement strategies with business and operational priorities.
  • Drive sourcing initiatives contract negotiations and supplierselectionto achieve cost quality and serviceobjectives.
  • Manage supplier performance governance and risk for critical E&PS vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies financial controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop a highperforming procurement team fostering accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Identifyopportunities for process optimization standardization and value creation across E&PSspendcategories.
  • Support site expansions capital investments and transformation initiatives through effective procurement planning and execution.

Where required to be managed locally:

  • Document handling: Print stamp/seal mail/ship distribute and route documents for wet signatures.
  • Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents;fulfillrequests;coordinateoffsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.
  • Compliance/admin: Upload/submitfilings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degreerequiredin Supply Chain Engineering Business Administration Finance or a related field
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically810years of progressive experience in procurement sourcing supply chain or operations roles
  • Demonstrated experience managing procurement for facilities engineering services or capital projects
  • Strong contract negotiation supplier management and costoptimization skills
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with technical operational and financial stakeholders
  • Experience leading teams in a matrixed or multinational organization

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical devices life sciences manufacturing or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience supporting large manufacturing or distribution sites
  • Exposure to global procurement frameworks and governance models
  • Experience supporting organizational transformations site expansions or capital investment programs
  • Professional certification such as CPSM CIPS or equivalent
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities

  • Certifications: Procurement or Supply Chain certifications preferred

The expected base pay range for this position is $122000.00 to $218500.00.

  • Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees and/or eligible
    dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company

  • Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
    Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
    Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside
    in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year

    Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year
    Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
    Parental Leave 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
    Condolence Leave 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member
    Caregiver Leave 10 days
    Volunteer Leave 4 days
    Military Spouse Time-Off 80 hours
